cupcakes

Here are some Memorial Day cupcakes that we made...they were delicious!! I used a recipe from The Cake Doctor.

new cards

I have been busy making more cards. All cards were created with various CTMH card kits that I have got. I still have a bunch more to finish. This card making is really hard with two little ones! The last card is a Red White and Blue card for Dan that I have entered in to a contest with my CTMH consultant...lets see how I do!. Here are a few pics....

ATC's

We made these at the OOSC Stamping Group Meeting. They are Artist Trading Cards. There were three of us and we each started two cards and passed to the next two people to finish. I think they turned out awesome! Lots of ladies keep their ATCs. I am not sure if I want to use as cards to send them out and make some use out of their beauty...or keep them?? What do you think?

notebooks and matching pens

I learned how to make these from a sweet lady named Polly. They are great for gifts.

Some cards...

These were made with the close to my heart kits...they turn out so nice and everything matches. These are really neat!

Finally a Scrapbooking Page

I finally got a scrapbook page finished. It has been a while! That could be why this is a picture of Allison as a baby. I made this with one of the awesome kits from Close to My Heart this one is called Sweet Home. I am working on the cards that match now. Hope to post those soon! :)

Easter Cupcakes and Cakes

We made some cute easter cupcakes with edible grass. I made about half of them and then tasted them with the grass...it was terrible. Gross! Last cupcakes with edible grass... We then had to make another cake which I decided should taste yummy rather than look really great...so I made the chocolate delight cake. It was soooo good!

cricut decor

I finally got a project finished that I have been wanting to do for over a year. I decorated the girls rooms with some cricut cuts out of vinyl using a childs year cartridge. It turned out sooo cute! I am sad I didnt do this months ago.

First Aid Kits

Next I made some first aid kits out of potholders. I sewed on some buttons and ribbon. Then I stitched some plastic bags on the inside.

Iris Folding

I have been making cards for a while, but had never seen one of these let alone tried it. I was kind of excited when my card kit technique this month was something new. Here is my first iris folding card.

We have been sick...but busy!

Seems like this blog has made me finish more projects. I may have actually finished more if it weren't for the plague that keeps hitting my house. Over the past week I made an apron for a friend, tried out iris folding, made some first aid kits out of potholders, made some cute pillowcase dresses and cut out some home decor with the cricut machine!! Yes, we have been busy!! I will show the pillowcase dresses first. I think I may add more ribbon to make them look less like a pillow case...we will see!

Decorating Cakes

One of my favorite things to do is decorate cakes. This is a more recent love and I am definitely still learning. I don't get to bake enough cakes but here are some of my recent ones. I am really proud of the gloworm cake. It is my first cake with something cool like lights! The firetruck was for my nephews birthday.

First Blog

Welcome to Alligator Arts and Crocodile Crafts! I decided that I needed a place to share all of the things that we create at the Massey house from cards, crochet and cakes to beautiful drawings by Alligator herself! Enjoy!
